| Deming Designs have been manufacturing beach wheelchairs since 1994. Today, their premiere model is the De-Bug all terrain beach wheelchair. Since one of the designers is also a user of the chair, the De-Bug is designed with comfort and practicality in mind.
The De-Bug can be custom order to fit your own measurements. You can choose a standard, tilt and space, reclining or a combined tilt and space and reclining all terrain wheelchair to meet your positioning and support needs. Custom seating cushions are also available. The height of the chair from the floor to the seat is 22 inches and easy for transferring. The armrests are easy to remove for transfers too. It is really easy to wheel it on the sand at the beach.
The De-Bug All Terrain Wheelchairs have optional quick release pins and are easy to assemble and disassemble without tools. Other options include alternate pool wheels, drink holder, umbrella holder and even a fishing pole holder. The chair can be used in the water because it does not float. The wheels are similar to bicycle wheels and stay solidly on the ground while in the water. The De-Bug frame is constructed using #316L Stainless Steel tubing which is a higher grade than standard "#304 marine grade" stainless.
